Academically, I was challenged and encouraged by both Chris Brennemann and Louis Riggs. As I prepared to enter law school, these professors designed brand new curricular offerings to prepare me. Without their influence, my entrance into the legal field would have been much more daunting!

HLGU’s Department of 英语 strives to provide a framework for excellence in literacy analysis, writing effectiveness, and linguistic inquiry. Offering courses to meet general education requirements as well as requirements for the major, the department serves a significant percentage of the students at Hannibal-LaGrange University.
